The RN Inpatient Flow Coordinator is responsible for managing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure efficient and safe care delivery. The role requires a Registered Nurse with at least five years of acute care experience and leadership skills to coordinate patient flow and liaise with medical staff. This position demands strong assessment, prioritization abilities, and certification including a Georgia RN license and BLS.

Responsibilities:RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Coordinate the movement of patients as it relates to admissions, transfers, and discharges and act as a liaison with Medical Staff to ensure that patient care is delivered in an efficient and safe manner.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of nursing program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five years experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting; competent to work in multiple areas including acute and critical care settings; experience with conscious sedation required for working at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and have excellent assessment and prioritization skills. 3 years of leadership responsibility preferred.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification through American Heart Association
