Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry position in a subintensive medical unit, requiring a current AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital subintensive medical unit (MS/Tele)
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Orientation hours are included at the start of the contract
• Uses Meditech EMR; prior experience preferred but not required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no mileage restrictions
• Competency-based modules are included in virtual orientation, no HealthStream modules required prior to start
• ICU and ED nurses are required to take an onsite test and an online pre-test
• A cardiac exam link will be provided and must be completed within the required timeframe after offer acceptance

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license with no restrictions or hits
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty area (Med/Surg Telemetry)
• No pending or temporary licenses will be considered
• Timekeeping in Centricity system
