We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Optometrist (MD or DO) to join our expanding team near Wilson, NC. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to be a partner in improving access to specialized pediatric eye care. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced Optometrist, we encourage you to apply. Completion of a Pediatric Optometry Residency is preferred, but not required. This role is ideal for candidates dedicated to providing high-quality eye care to children and adolescents.

- Comprehensive Eye Exams: Conduct detailed eye examinations and specialized testing for both new and existing pediatric patients, ensuring their vision health and overall eye care needs are met.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular diseases common in children, including refractive errors, strabismus, and amblyopia.
- Advanced Diagnostic Tools: Order and interpret diagnostic imaging such as corneal topography, fluorescein angiography, OCT, and other specialized studies to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Prescribe Corrective Lenses: Prescribe glasses and contact lenses tailored to the specific needs of pediatric patients, ensuring the best possible visual outcomes.
- Surgical Support: Provide both pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients, working closely with the ophthalmology team to ensure optimal recovery and long-term results.
- Urgent Eye Condition Management: Collaborate with the ophthalmology team to triage and manage urgent eye conditions, offering immediate and expert care to children in need.
- Training and Development: Participate in training initiatives and contribute to the continued development of the pediatric optometry program.
