Travel RN Job Details

• Position Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment
• Location: Des Moines, IA 50314 (On-Site) – Iowa nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/23/2025 – End: 2/21/2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Resource Pool
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750–$1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license required (Medical/Surgical and Telemetry certification preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry nursing role
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Meet all onboarding requirements, including background check, health screenings, competency testing, and vaccinations
• Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding quickly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and clinical support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized healthcare environment
