Pediatric ED Experience is a must
We need someone who can function independently in our small pediatric unit. If we do not have patients, we will float them to the med surg floor.
This unit requires the nurse for be the only caregiver on the unit most times, although there is good support from the ED and from Family Birthplace (FBP), There are times when there are no patients, and the RN would be pulled to another area, depending on her experience. Areas include med/surg, ED, or FBP. Prior experience is considered when pulled. This is a great opportunity for someone with Pediatric skills who enjoys working independently.
