Cardiac OR Operating Room - Registered Nurse

Job DescriptionThe Adult Cardiac OR is responsible for a wide variety of patients including those undergoing CABGs, TAVIs, and managing Heart Failure cases such as VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants. The operating room staff utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to provide optimal care for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac OR setting.
- Assist in scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- RN License (New York License ONLY)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Two (2) years of experience in the Operating Room
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred
- Ability to scrub and circulate is preferred
