- On-Call Requirements: Yes, including holiday coverage
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide newborn nursery call services, including rounding on newborns, particularly those readmitted for conditions like hyperbilirubinemia and failure to thrive.
- Average of 3-4 newborn patients per day with no inpatient pediatrics other than nursery care.
- Coverage for specific dates in December (5, 6, 11, 12, 23-30) and January (23-24).
- Nursery setup includes up to 3 transitional newborn beds in a Level I nursery and Level II labor/delivery unit.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Pediatrics Required
- Clean medical history No malpractice or background issues, without exceptions
- NRP and PALS certification Required
- Michigan medical license Required at the time of submission
- Local candidates within driving distance Strongly preferred
- MI Medicaid/CHAMPS enrollment Required
- COVID vaccination Required
Credentialing:
- Fast-track credentialing is available to meet the November start date.
Additional Details:
