Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pain Clinic role requiring an IL RN license and moderate sedation experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a pain clinic setting
• Typical hours are Monday through Friday with varied start and end times between 07:30 and 17:30
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• Day shift approximately 07:00-15:30, subject to physician schedule changes
• Patient population consists of individuals seeking pain management procedures
• Responsible for administering moderate sedation and monitoring patients during pain management procedures
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must provide COVID vaccination documentation if requested
• Orientation provided for pain clinic protocols

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred, especially for those with critical care experience
• Experience with moderate sedation required
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start and uploaded through NURSYS
