This position seeks a licensed and board-certified psychiatrist to provide specialized psychiatric care at a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital near Little Rock. The role involves collaborating with hospital leadership and clinical teams to deliver customized rehabilitation services to patients recovering from severe injuries or neurological conditions. The position offers flexible scheduling, advanced technology, and a supportive team environment under independent contractor status.
Our Regional Specialty Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment for patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
We are seeking a staff Psychiatrist to assist with providing quality care in our new hospital, and we are open to exploring different employment options for this position. White Hall is a small community about 30 minutes south of Little Rock and near the University of Arkansas of Medical Sciences.
This consulting position will collaborate with the Medical Director, CEO and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

As a Staff Physician you will have:
- Doctor of medicine or osteopathy, duly licensed and registered to practice medicine or surgery, and is in good standing under the laws of the state.
- Certified and maintains all board certifications in his or her specialty areas by a nationally recognized board.
- Demonstrates appropriate experience or training to provide rehabilitation services through one of the following:
- A formal residency in PMR
- A fellowship in rehabilitation for a minimum of one year
- Has completed a one-year hospital internship with a minimum of two years' of training or experience as a collaborative team member in the medical management of inpatients requiring rehabilitation services
