Facility is seeking Palliative Care Physician to join our esteemed team.
- Provide expert palliative care consultations and follow-up care to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Manage complex symptoms, including pain, nausea, and respiratory distress, to improve the quality of life for patients.
- Facilitate discussions with patients and families regarding prognosis, goals of care, and advance care planning.
- Educate and support healthcare providers, patients, and families about palliative care principles and practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and educational activities to advance the field of palliative care.
