Job DescriptionThis Georgia Health System is currently recruiting a General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team for a new hospital location. This brand-new facility will be opening in the Spring of 2024. If you are an experienced surgeon with a passion for excellence in patient care, equally competent clinical skills, and are team oriented please apply!We are located in one of the fastest growing areas in the state. The ideal candidate is an experienced surgeon interested in a bread and butter, elective outpatient surgery. A dedicated APP will work alongside the surgeon and assist with rounding, clinic.Education, Training, & ExperienceMedical DoctorBoard Certified in General SurgeryDemonstrated interest in endoscopy and colonoscopyAbility to obtain an active medical license in the state of GeorgiaFunctions appropriately as part of care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills, both their own and those of other provider and staffExcellent clinical skillsTeam orientedAt least 3 years of surgical experience requiredOpportunity OverviewBrand new facility opening in April 2024 Start date will align with the opening of that hospital location Facility will have 3 ORs with an Endovascular suite, emergency services and 16 beds. Clinic space will be in the attached Medical Office Building along with other NGPG specialties.
