RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Epic experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Provide care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Must be competent in care of medical and surgical populations
• ACLS certification required
• Advanced hemodynamics knowledge required including pressor usage per titration protocols
• Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics required
• Must be skilled with arterial lines, central venous pressure monitoring, EVD, orthopedic traction, and infection prevention protocols
• Experience with HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxygen-dependent patients required
• Average patient load of 3 high acuity patients
• Large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience preferred
• Weekend block schedule may be considered
• Competency test required within 48 hours of submission via email
• Local candidates from certain ineligible counties not accepted
