American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry Observation Unit role requiring FL or compact RN license and vasoactive drip experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Observation Unit within a short-term acute care and teaching hospital setting
- Assigned to the 2 East Clinical Decision Unit with a focus on MS/Telemetry patients
- Must be able to float within scope to three area hospitals located within a 20-mile radius
- Night shift position working 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
- Utilizes EPIC charting system; EPIC experience preferred
- Vasoactive drip management is required
- Facility is smoke free, and a negative nicotine (cotinine) test is required
- Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly prior to assignment start
- All requested time off must be submitted up front; time off requests after submission may not be approved
- Scrub color is white
- Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces
- Assignments at this health system cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, and a 6-month break is required between assignments
- Nicotine-free policy strictly enforced for all employees
- Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 18 months of acute care/telemetry nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
- Vasoactive drip experience required
- Certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS at time of submission; NIHSS prior to start
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Must provide two references for consideration
- Pending licenses are not accepted
