Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring Level 1 trauma and PICU experience with night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Pediatric ICU within a hospital setting
• Care for a pediatric patient population with varying levels of acuity
• Night shift schedule, working 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• No local candidates accepted; must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, monitoring IV infusions, and assisting with minor diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
• Interact with patient families to communicate care plans and facilitate discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Pediatric ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
