This role seeks a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a high-volume, academic health system in South Carolina with opportunities for subspecialty collaboration and clinical research. The position offers two location options focusing on different subspecialties within cardiology, including advanced therapies like LVAD and transplant care. Set in beautiful South Carolina, this opportunity offers subspecialty collaboration, research support, and a strong referral base all within a mission-driven, academic health system.

Greenville, SC
• Focus: PAH, HCM, ATTR-CM (no LVAD or transplant)
• Join a practice of 40 cardiologists - shared patient model allows for immediate integration
• 40 ECMO cases/year
Columbia, SC
• Focus: LVAD (50+ this year), transplant prep, and post-transplant care
• Work at South Carolina's only freestanding Heart & Vascular Institute + established HF clinic
• 30 ECMO cases/year
• Transplant program launching in 3+ years
Compensation & Benefits
• Average $850k total comp
• Fellowship stipend PSLF-eligible
