Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a day shift, requiring an AL or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Work on a Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift position from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
- 13-week contract assignment
- Care for a diverse adult patient population
- Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg floor
- Requests for time off (RTO) must be less than 1 week
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for travel positions
- Returning travelers must not have been permanent staff at a CHS facility within the past 2 years
Requirements
- Active AL or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg nursing
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
- Candidate must not have any employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years are not eligible
