Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4, 10-hour shifts with weekend rotation and no on-call requirement
• May have occasional float assignments to outpatient surgery
• Provide assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in acute patient setting
• Deliver holistic and individualized care to patients including direct patient care and patient/family education
• Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Foster collaborative relationships between patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Unit has 10 beds with interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, CA RN Licensure
• CNOR and PALS certifications preferred
• CVOR experience required with scrubbing highly recommended
• Minimum 2 years experience in orthopedics/vascular/robotic surgery required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience and trauma level I/II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 40-hour orientation with modules completed through e-learning
• One holiday request approved per contract
