Excellent opportunity for a BC/BE PM&R physician18-bed, dedicated patient care unit is housed on the first floor of the patient care tower where a continuum of care from acute hospitalization to inpatient rehabilitation to outpatient services is availableThe unit has access for referral consultations with numerous subspecialties including orthopedics, neurology, pulmonology, cardiology and nephrology to assist in meeting a multitude of co-morbid conditions that may affect patients during their stay in the Rehab CenterThe intense therapy schedule provides for three hours of therapy daily. Therapy includes physical, occupational, speech and recreationalThe inpatient center services a variety of illnesses and impairments, including the following: stroke, brain injuries, neuropathy and myopathy, multiple trauma, spinal cord injuries, polyarthritis, amputation, orthopedic disorders, neurological conditions, Guillain-Barr, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease, cardiac or pulmonary diseases and generalized weaknessPosition includes hospital coverageWill practice all aspects of PM&R for an adult populationHighly competitive compensation plan with a full benefits package including CME Allowance, Life, Health, Dental and Vision, Long Term, Short Term Disability, Professional Liability Coverage w/Tail, Relocation Assistance
