Job Description
PerMar Security Services is seeking a dependable and observant Mobile Patrol Security Officer to join our team. This position involves driving a company vehicle to patrol multiple client locations during overnight hours, ensuring the safety and security of client properties.
Schedule
- Days: Fridays and Saturdays
- Hours: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Shift Type: Overnight / Part-Time

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to conduct mobile patrols at multiple local client locations
- Lock and unlock client businesses at scheduled times
- Conduct site checks at locations where our current security officers are assigned to ensure they are performing their duties properly and to determine whether they need any support or resources.
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Conduct internal and external security checks, including drive-around inspections at select locations
- Identify and address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal activity
- Warn violators of premises rules and regulations
- Monitor for hazards such as fires, water leaks, or other safety concerns
- Report any facility issues, incidents, or irregularities
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
- Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager regarding schedules or issues
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have a good driving record as you would be driving a company vehicle.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the location where the Mobile Patrol Car is stored.
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Responsible, reliable, and punctual

- Must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person License
- Must not have any felony convictions per Wisconsin DSPS Private Security License requirements
