Locum-to-perm role with maternity transport team involvement and dedicated in-house call rooms. OB Hospitalist Physician, locum-to-perm starting Jan 1, 2026; inpatient only at Des Moines-area medical center near Afton, IA; 6.5 24-hour shifts/month (7 AM–7 AM); weekends required; in-house call; Epic EMR; no GYN duties. - Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN - Active Iowa medical license or IMLC (LOQ on submission) - Clean malpractice and background - Experience with inpatient OB, vaginal deliveries and C-sections - Comfortable with emergent/unsupervised OBED care

Dynamic Inpatient Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB Hospitalist Physician for a Locum-to-Perm position starting January 1, 2026, near Afton, Iowa, with inpatient coverage at a leading medical center in Des Moines. This role focuses exclusively on obstetric care, with no gynecological duties required.
