Point Quest is Hiring for a Behavioral Aide : Full-Time | $18.50-$21.00/Hourly+ benefits

About the Role: Support students with special needs in K-12 school settings. You'll implement behavior intervention plans, provide one-on-one instructional support, and help students build the skills they need to succeed in the classroom. This role works closely with teachers and clinical staff to deliver personalized care for students with learning, social, emotional, or behavioral needs.

What You'll Do:

Implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) in a classroom / special education setting

Provide one-on-one instructional support and academic assistance tailored to individual student needs (paraprofessional / instructional aide)

Apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies to support behavioral goals, autism support, and behavior intervention

Respond to crisis situations using CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or Pro-ACT techniques to ensure student safety

Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, meals, and transportation (student supervision / school support)

Record and track daily data collection on student behavior, skills progression, and learning objectives (data tracking / documentation)

Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and supervisors regarding student progress, behavior concerns, and interventions (team collaboration / communication skills)

What We're Looking For: Must Have:

High school diploma or GED 6 months or more experience in behavior health or related field Experience working with students in school or treatment settings DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance, as applicable per state Strong communication skills and reliability Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred:

Pro-ACT, CPI, or CPR certification Experience with students needing behavioral, social, or emotional support Bachelor's degree in related field (required for BA III level)
