- Assignment Type: Locum tenens (contract CRNA position)
- Healthcare Setting: Level 2 trauma center with 26 anesthesia rooms
- Shifts per Week: 4
- Shift Duration: 12-hour days (6:00 AM 4:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Case Types: General anesthesia, neuro, ortho (No hearts, peds, or OB unless trauma-related)
- Charting System: Epic EMR
- Supervision: 4:1 CRNA to MD anesthesiologist ratio
- On-Call: No in-house or pager call required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Ability to start promptly after credentialing
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients and families
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for general and trauma cases
- Monitor and document patients' physiological status during procedures using Epic EMR
- Perform clinical interventions as needed and respond to anesthesia-related emergencies
- Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
