The Radiology Physician position involves interpreting various imaging studies such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine in a hospital setting. The role requires working Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling options and managing a typical patient volume of 14-17 in ICU/MS census. The position includes working with PACS EMR systems and is supported by a full team of technologists and support staff.
Start Date: ASAC
Length of Assignment: 3-6 months (depends on provider availability, will offer through end of year)
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-5pm, will consider 4-10's if we have a provider for it, flexible
Credentialing: it takes 60 days to credential. They have temp privileges if needed.
Patient Volume: Typical MS/ ICU census is 14-17
Setting: Hospital
EMR: Pacs system, radiology specific
Details: Types of Imaging - Computed Tomography, Digital Radiography, Echocardiogram, Magnetic Resonance, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Positron Emission Tomography, Radiographic Imaging, Ultrasound. The average number of reads per physician is 140 per week. Number of exam room is 7. There is a lab onsite. Full support staff, 20 techs, 6 supports.
