PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: ~49,500 annual visits (~135/day) Admissions: 22% EMS Percentage: 30%

FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 42 ED beds Trauma Level: Not specified EMR System: Meditech (transitioning to Epic March 2025) Specialty Backup Available: Robust backup specialties on-site Scribe Coverage: 10 hrs/day Staffing (MDDO): 49 hours MonWed; 42 hours SatSun (~3.5 FTE, ~42 shifts/month) APPs (NP/PAs): 46 hours MonFri; 36 hours SatSun Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: ~90 days Expedited Privileges: No temporary privileges not allowed Orientation

JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Louisiana medical license Board: BC in ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM (FM must show proof of ED work in past 2 years) Certifications: ATLS (FM only), ACLS, PALS Residency Training: EM or FM residency required Experience: Minimum 2 years ED experience if FM trained
