Adelphi is seeking a psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services at a facility in Phoenix, Arizona. The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations on mentally ill patients and develop appropriate treatment regimens.

Requirements:
- Active AZ license
- BC/BE
- BLS
- DEA license
- Minimum 2 years experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct professional medical and physical examinations on patients.
- Make diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment regimens.
- Make electronic entries in patient medical record.
- Attend hospital meetings.
- Attend onsite patient court hearings to provide testimony for court proceedings, discussion with legal representatives/agencies and other duties as necessary.
- Administer medical treatment and diagnostic programs.
- Apply prior knowledge and training to unusual and varied medical and/or psychiatric conditions.
- Provide coverage for day Officer of the Day (OD) calls if requested.
- Respond to emergency calls and treatment(s).
- Direct work of professional staff.
- Work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members such as psychologists, PAs, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, social workers, dietitians, therapists, etc.
- Any other duties as assigned.
