ScheduleDay shift from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed. Call required once weekly and every 6th weekend.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated timeframe, providing therapeutic care utilizing the nursing process, environment, and collaboration with healthcare team members. The RN will perform duties according to established standards of care.
Responsibilities- Conduct ongoing assessments and data collection focusing on patients' physiological, psychological, and cognitive status.
- Analyze assessment data to determine appropriate nursing diagnoses.
- Identify expected outcomes individualized to each patient.
- Formulate and prioritize a goal-directed care plan.
- Implement, document, and evaluate patient care comprehensively and in a timely manner.
- Function efficiently in emergency situations and follow established protocols.
- Engage in continuous self-evaluation and seek professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Current state nursing license.
- Experience in gastrointestinal nursing, including outpatient and inpatient care.
- Endoscopy training/experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
