Neurologist needed in Roswell, New Mexico - Located 200 miles from Albuquerque, NM; 180 miles from Las Cruces, NMPosition Details:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) - Three-year residency in neurology - New Mexico License to practice medicine.- Diagnose and treat patients 18 years and older with wide range of neurological diseases and disorders.
- On outpatient basis, determine nature and extent of disease or disorder using diagnostic neurological imaging and tests.
- Prescribe medication and treatments and consult with other health care professionals.
- Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medicine.
- Counsel patients on neurological disorders and their background.
- Manage patient complaint resolution.
- Participate in educational programs and literature review for professional development.
