About the FacilityA correctional facility is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located about 40 mins north of Las Vegas, NV.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis role is Monday-Friday (5x8s or 4x10s) with optional 24-hour call about once a month. The caseload is 16-20 adult male patients daily, with bread-and-butter procedures preferred, including suturing. Candidates need a Nevada license, BLS, and DEA, with FM/IM BC or BE preferred. Youll work with the Medical Director and a strong NP/nursing team. Credentialing takes about two weeks with standard screenings; COVID vaccination is not required.
