Locum Physician - Diagnostic Radiology

We are currently seeking a proficient Diagnostic Radiologist to work onsite in a hospital setting. This role involves managing a diverse range of imaging modalities, including XR, CT, MR, US, NM, and Flouro.
Our facility is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community, ensuring that each patient receives thorough and compassionate care. This position entails a manageable daily volume, allowing for professional growth and impactful patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including XR, CT, MR, US, and NM.
- Conduct light interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and lumbar punctures.
- Review and interpret imaging studies to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety throughout all procedures.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Document patient information and procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
- Engage in continuous education and training opportunities to enhance skills.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Proven experience in performing child and pediatric barium enemas.
- Strong knowledge of various imaging modalities and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active West Virginia Medical License or IMLC.
- Current DEA Registration.
