- Schedule: Part Time, (25 hrs) Thursday - Monday - from 7a - 12p (must be able to work weekends)
- Payrate: $19/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Cleaning/Maintenance Specialist at Tello's Parking Lot. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the parking lot, creating a welcoming and safe environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic parking area.
- Trash Management: Proper disposal of litter and waste to keep the parking lot tidy and in compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Landscaping Maintenance: Responsible for basic landscaping tasks such as removing debris, trimming vegetation, and ensuring the overall aesthetic appeal of the parking lot.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize cleaning equipment and tools efficiently to carry out tasks effectively, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Monitor and report any safety hazards, addressing them promptly to maintain a secure environment for both employees and customers.
- Customer Service: Interact courteously with customers, providing assistance when needed, and maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance roles preferred.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong customer service experience.
Parking and/or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, rain, etc.
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
