Our facility offers flexible options, where providers can work either from a designated VES site or their own office location, giving you the freedom to choose what works best for you. With ongoing needs for dedicated health professionals, we are looking for General Medicine Providers who are committed to assisting veterans across the country.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation and Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based examinations, with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing or treatment will be required.
- Ensure accurate completion of examination reports and any necessary addendums.
- Participate in a quick credentialing and onboarding process.
- Maintain positive and professional interaction with veteran patients.
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions - REQUIRED
- Own a compatible laptop (no Mac/Apple products) - REQUIRED
- AANP certification - REQUIRED
- Active and unrestricted full nursing license in Texas - REQUIRED
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification - REQUIRED
- Current home address must be listed on CV - REQUIRED
- Active Texas State License.
- AANP certification required.
