Join Our Dynamic Urgent Care Team as a Physician Assistant!
Are you a dedicated Physician Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We are seeking highly motivated professionals to fill multiple urgent care roles, including Urgent Care, Family Practice, and Emergency Medicine, starting September 12, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative setting, utilizing your skills to treat a diverse patient population of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a full spectrum of urgent care cases for adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up).
- Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repair, and ear irrigation.
- Utilize EPIC EMR effectively for documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with support staff including center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to individual needs.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of related clinical experience.
- Board Certification through NCCPA, Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using Epic EMR.
- Strong soft skills for engaging with patients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as the sole provider in the center.
- BLS certification.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with minor procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with pediatric and adult urgent care protocols.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Prior experience in an urgent care setting.
- Comfort handling high patient volumes (up to 40 PPD, average 20).
Other Requirements:
- Availability to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius.
- Successful credentialing approval and onboarding.
- Must be willing to complete EMR training prior to first solo shift.
