ICU RN Job Details

• Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing
• Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 – End: 3/30/2026)
• Shift: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts (07:00 – 19:00), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: ICU – First Floor
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2090 - $2150

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin or Compact RN license (required at submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR charting experience preferred
• Ability to float to IMCU (Intermediate Care/Stepdown) unit as needed
• Two supervisor references from the past year, including one from most recent assignment
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage patients receiving advanced therapies: CRRT, ventilator management, vasoactive drips
• Assist with procedures: chest tube insertion/removal, arterial line management, central line care
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Administer emergency medications and blood products
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services
• Float to IMCU (stepdown) unit as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR (preferred)
• Follow infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions
