LOCUM TENENS EMERGENCY MEDIC
PA (NCCPA) or NP (FNP, ENP, or ACNP preferred)
Minimum 3 years of current EM experience (rural/IHS a plus)
Active license & DEA
BLS, ACLS, PALS (ATLS preferred)
Strong procedural skills and cultural sensitivity
Job Responsibilities
• ED Volume: 10,000 visits/year• APP Coverage: 1 PA/NP per 24-hour period
• Physician Coverage: 24-hour onsite EM physician
• Nursing Support: 3 RNs per shift
• Additional Support: 2 Medical Assistants per shift
• Diagnostics: X-ray, lab, and basic emergency ultrasound available
• Transfers: Established EMS transport to referral hospitals
• EHR: RPMS / IHS EHR system
• 3-4 shifts in a row
• 6-8 shifts a month
• Work shifts every other week

Minimum 3 years of current EM experience (rural/IHS a plus)Working Hours
