The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for managing product inventory within a distribution center, including replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies. The role requires operation of material handling equipment, maintaining a safe and clean workspace, and performing quality control activities to preserve inventory integrity. Candidates should have forklift experience, basic arithmetic skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Job Summary:
Effective product management in accordance to distribution center processes including - replenishing, picking, packing and shipping. Accurate verification and completion of paperwork and materials management system steps for completion of the product distribution processes. Performing proper inventory maintenance activities through quality control steps and adherence to distribution center policies and procedures. Operating material handling equipment. Maintaining a safe and clean distribution environment.
- Hours: 2:30pm-10:00pm
- Pay rate: $18.00
- Operating material handling equipment and maintaining a safe and clean distribution environment are also key responsibilities.
- Stocks and replenishes product effectively.
- Fills orders according to policy guidelines and productivity standards.
- Improves and maintains inventory accuracy through warehouse system utilization and process
- improvement actions.
- Operates material handling equipment effectively.
- Maintains a safe and clean distribution environment.
- Maintains the integrity of the inventory through expiration checks and proper storage and stock
- rotations.
- Participates in an annual physical inventory.
- Experience using hand-held scan devices in a warehouse or storeroom setting is also preferred.
- Experience using forklift such as reach truck and cherry picker is required
- High school graduate or GED or 2+ year(s) of related job experience.
- Ability to make basic arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately and to pay strict attention to
- detail in matching product to descriptive information.
- Ability to work at a fast pace with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures while demonstrating a positive, customer-oriented, team
- player attitude. Must be able to stoop, lift, pull, push, and move goods with significant weight.
- MS Office experience needed
- 1 year of experience in a Healthcare Distribution Center or Consolidated Services Center in the role (i.e. Automated warehousing, receiving, inventory environment, and etc.)
- Copy of Immunization record and lab drug screen will be requested, so please prepare to present.
