Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team at a leading facility in Houston, Louisiana that provides vital health evaluations for our nation's Veterans. As a General Medicine Provider, you will conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work within your own office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform PRN Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments for veterans.
- Conduct primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
- Complete reports and submit them, including any necessary addendums.
- Work either in the office or offsite as needed, adhering to proximity requirements.
- Quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in General Medicine or related field.
- Experience with compensation and pension examinations.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
- Active and unrestricted full medical license in Louisiana.
- Willingness to complete required DMA training for certification.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current and valid medical license in Louisiana.
- Board certification.
- AANP certification required.
