Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care.
- Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
- Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
- Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within 2 years of hire.
- TNCC certification recommended within 2 years of hire.
