Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated physicians to join a dynamic team at state-of-the-art urgent care centers near Tebbetts, MO. This locum tenens role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a well-supported outpatient setting.
Job Details:
Specialties Required:
- Family Medicine

- Med/Peds (Internal Medicine & Pediatrics)
Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) through ABMS or AOB.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Responsibilities Include:
- Treating patients aged 6 months and older for various urgent care needs.
- Performing minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, and placing IVs.
- Overreading EKGs and X-rays.
Shift Details:
- Clinics operate from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (MondayFriday) and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (SaturdaySunday).
- 12-hour shifts during weekdays; potential for 12-hour shifts on weekends.
- Up to 14 shifts per month, with preference for those available for multiple consecutive shifts, including weekends.
Patient Volume:
- 3050 patients per shift.
Support Staff:
- Medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians available on-site.

- Fully equipped urgent care facilities with lab and mobile X-ray capabilities.
Technology:
- EMR system: Epic (training provided; must adapt quickly).
Credentialing:
- Estimated timeframe: 90120 days.
Requirements:
- Proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months relevant to privileges requested.
- Residency training in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
