Internal Medicine Physician - Sonora, CA

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
The MD/DO provides comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and supervision of patient care while adhering to state and federal regulations. Key responsibilities include performing examinations, prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and ensuring proper documentation. Collaboration with other healthcare providers and community resources is vital for effective patient care. Physicians also engage in professional development, and quality improvement initiatives, and may participate in on-call services and community outreach to educate and serve diverse populations, including Native American communities.
Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine. Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic school.
  
• Completion of a residency program in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine).
  
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in specialty.
  
• Valid California medical license, DEA certification, and BLS certification.
  
• Valid California state license to practice medicine.
  

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and be free of any felony convictions.
  
• Must have a vehicle, valid California drivers license (or ability to obtain with 30 days of hire), vehicle insurance.
  
• Must be insurable.
