Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and two years of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Medical/Surgical unit on the first floor of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with shift times of 18:30 to 19:00
- 13-week assignment
- No local travelers accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Requested time off must be less than one week
- First time travelers are eligible to apply
- Background must show consistent employment history within the past 12 months
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Candidates with employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past year will not be considered
- Former permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
