Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Provide skilled nursing services for ambulatory surgery patients in post-anesthesia care unit
• Assess and implement care for patients with basic knowledge of operative procedures
• Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by physician
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, responding to call lights, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update/revise care plans
• Process physician/provider orders and perform ordered care accurately and timely
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications
• Weekend work required
• On-call responsibilities required
• 2+ years of RN experience required
• Pre/Post Op experience required
• PACU experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Michigan nursing license required
• Skills checklist current within one year required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within last two years required
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
