General Psychiatrist Inpatient ServicesLocation: Near Cambridge City, IN (Greater Indianapolis Area)Schedule: Full-time Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Flexible Options Available Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Psychiatrist to join our respected behavioral health team near Cambridge City, Indiana. This role is centered on inpatient psychiatric consultation, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional, compassionate care to patients with a broad spectrum of mental health needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist looking to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and supportive clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and consultations for inpatients with behavioral health concerns. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Diagnose and manage a range of psychiatric conditions including: Bipolar Disorder Depression Anxiety ADHD Substance Use Disorders Schizophrenia Delirium Dementia with behavioral disturbances Perform bariatric evaluations as needed. Qualifications MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry. Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligibility to obtain). Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
