ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum-to-Perm OB/GYN Hospitalist to begin January 1, 2026. This role provides 24-hour, in-house coverage for obstetric emergencies, deliveries, and OBED patients, with no outpatient or GYN responsibilities. The position is ideal for candidates interested in transitioning to a permanent hospitalist role within a high-volume obstetric service.

• Shift Length: 24 hours (7a 7a)

• On-Call: 24/7 in-house call (call rooms available)

• Patient Contact Hours: 7a 7a

• Setting: Inpatient only

• Telehealth: No

• APP Supervision: Not required

• OBED: 8-bed OB Emergency Department

• Medical Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy: On site

• Annual OBED Volume: 1,389 visits; 463 deliveries/year

• MFM: On call

• Residents: Present, but OB Hospitalist does not supervise

• GYN Duties: None

• EMR: Epic

• Manage OBED patients

• Care for emergent obstetric patients, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections

• Provide care for patients without a primary OB/GYN

• Participate in Iowa s only maternity transport team

• Providers must sign an attestation confirming they are seeking a permanent position

• Board Certified or Truly Board EligibleRequired
