Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in a Cardiology Critical Care Unit, requiring 18 months of recent ICU experience and an active GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position is located in a cardiology ICU setting
- Works with critically ill cardiac patients
- Night 12-hour shifts are required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- No local candidates allowed within a 50-mile radius
- Responsibilities include providing advanced critical care to cardiology patients
- Strict limits on requested time off: a maximum of 5 days if not around holidays, and 3 days if around holidays, with only one holiday request allowed
- Holidays off must be requested with consideration; consecutive RTO during holidays is not allowed
- Returning employees must meet specific separation requirements before consideration
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia or a compact state must be in hand
- Minimum of 18 months of ICU experience required
- Experience caring for cardiac/critically ill patients necessary
- Candidates must not have been a permanent employee at the facility or system within the previous year, or at this specific facility within the last 18 months
