Job Details:
• Work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Operate Magnetic Resonance Equipment to produce MR scans of patients
• Process all aspects of patient records properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner
• Calibrate and operate equipment, position patients, and apply/adjust restraining devices
• Lift and position patients as needed
• Communicate appropriately with patients, physicians, and hospital employees
• Utilize computer systems and file systems to facilitate patient records management
• Complete training to perform other radiology procedures such as select X-ray procedures
• Maintain customer service standards and interact effectively with diverse patient populations
• Graduate of ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required
• Graduate of approved school of MRI Technology and/or ARRT registration for MRI required
• One year MRI Technologist experience preferred
• CPR certification required
• Post-primary eligibility for individuals with current ARRT certification and registration (NMTCB or ARDMS) to obtain MRI registry certification within one year of hire
