Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn ICU position in a hospital setting, requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is located in the Burn ICU unit within a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- Uses Cerner for electronic medical records documentation
- Requires wearing ceil blue scrubs
- Burn ICU patient care responsibilities including management of high-acuity burn cases
- All clinicians must provide a US Social Security Number and a valid US home address
- Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced local pay rate based on facility radius rule
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Ceil blue scrubs are required as standard dress code
- Holiday coverage may be required as per the facility's needs
- Only one active position submission within this health system is allowed at a time
Requirements
- Active RN license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- NIH Certification preferred
- MOAB or CPI De-escalation Course with Managing Physical Confrontations (8 hours) preferred
- Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
