RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Neuro
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed with standard expectation of every other full weekend
• Block requests considered but never guaranteed
• Float requirements to Med Surg and Progressive units
• Must have charge experience OR be willing to learn and take on charge duties
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS; NIH (can be completed at orientation)
• Neuro and stroke experience highly preferred
• Work with medical and surgical neuro patients including Parkinson's, stroke, lumbar procedures (no trauma)
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on 17-bed unit
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Work with customary equipment including IV pumps
• Must wear black scrubs
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
• Contract duration of 13 weeks (up to 26 weeks upon request)
• Up to 5 days of time off can be automatically approved in each 13-week period
• Expected to work at least one major summer or winter holiday
• Must attend Neuroscience Nursing course as assigned by nurse manager
