Alliance for wellness is looking to hire exceptional Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) for San Diego County, CA!
Alliance for Wellness is a well-established psychiatric group serving the Southern California area. Our healthcare organization provides comprehensive psychiatric services across a wide spectrum of healthcare settings. Our group is committed to providing exceptional behavioral services using evidence-based knowledge, treating people with respect, compassion, and the highest level of ethical standards.
We are rapidly expanding our services throughout San Diego County and are looking for adept, compassionate, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with an advanced degree for Psychiatric Nurse (PMHNP-BC)
- License to practice in California as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner including 2N, 2N DEA license.
- Have experience working with SPMI or chemical dependence populations.
- Experience working in an acute care setting is a plus.
- At least 2 years working experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required for credentialing purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Initial Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation
- Provide 1:1 Medication management; and psychiatric assessments.
- Documentation in EMR
- Provide psychiatric care under the advice and support of a seasoned Psychiatrist.
- Work collaboratively with medical staff.
- Will mainly support our Crisis Stabilization Unit.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Schedule: Weekends (12-hour dayshift) and some shift on weekdays, if possible.
Salary: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
