This role involves leading and managing the development of innovative healthcare OTC products, including product research, specification management, and quality monitoring. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage product development projects for various healthcare products independently.
- Ensure all owned brand Healthcare OTC products have complete and approved specifications in the internal PLM system.
- Conduct thorough product and market research, and establish specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with vendors for sample reviews and evaluate samples based on established guidelines.
- Monitor quality improvements and analyze guest reviews to enhance product offerings.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and business partners to achieve project goals.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- 1-5+ years of relevant experience in product development, especially in food, nutraceutical, or chemical sectors.
- Proficiency in PLM systems and a strong understanding of consumer product testing and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and conducting sensory evaluations.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Capability to convey technical details across various departmental levels.
