Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to join a healthcare facility in Prescott, AZ. The Telemetry RN will provide specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, ensuring timely interventions and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
• Manage cardiac drips and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on cardiac care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
• Respond effectively to emergency situations

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (AZ or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with telemetry equipment and cardiac drips
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
